Zucchini Festival with Six Dollar String Band September 16

Come celebrate the bounty of Zucchini our gardens have bestowed upon us! A full slate of Zucchini related fun is planned by Pine River Arts, Pine River Library, and Pine River Garden Club! There will besquash fun for all ages with zucchini carving and decorating, zucchini Olympics, and more. Local residents are invited to bring a sweet or savory zucchini or squash dish to share as a part of a community potluck. There will also be live music from Durango’s favorite Old Time music ensemble, The Six Dollar String Band. And just like the neighborhood gardener with their extra zucchini, the event is free.
